The meeting was opened by President Mark Webster promptly at 7:30 PM.

A movie made of the Lake Grapevine event was presented. David Kanally and his son did a great job in the creation of the CD. The event at Grapevine was a great success though some problems in dock access were experienced.

Phil Wolff advised that our present treasury balance is $1974.94 Richard Wolff’s work on the club web site has sold several products for members. Phil also brought us up to date on work at the shop. Work continues on Chris’s and Phil’s boats. Phil’s is being prepared for bottom painting & Chris’s is ready for turnover.

August 13 will be the Marina Day event at Joe Pool Lake. On August 27,28 & 29 will be the Ride & Show event at Sneaky Pete’s on Lewisville Lake. Cocktail hour will begin at 6:30 Friday night with dinner at 8:00. Boating at leisure will be on Saturday and a buffet will be served at 10:00 on Sunday morning.

A CD excerpt from an interview of Jim Frechette at Keels & Wheels was presented.

As new business Pete Peterson suggested a provision be added to our Constitution & Bylaws for Associate Membership. Pete will submit the revision documentation at the July meeting for vote by the membership present at that time. Associate members would have no voting privileges nor be able to hold an office. This is offered as a way of isolating these members from club liabilities. The Associate Membership fee was suggested to be $45 per year.

Stan Lehnhardt gave an informative presentation on generator and alternator operation and construction. Components of each disassembled device were explained and passed around the room.

Les Burton was good enough to supply the excellent treats for the session.

The meeting closed at 9:10 PM
