The meeting was opened by President David Kanally at 7:30 PM.

Mark Webster reported that we have a new member, Mike Smith.

Robin McGeorge reported on events at Keels @ Wheels in Houston. Robin & other WBA members assisted in the event managing boat launch & retrieval and helping with judging. Robin & Pete Peterson received awards for their contribution.

The treasurer, Phil Wolff, reported a balance of $2179.14

Robin reported on shop activity:

Pete’s Daisy: All finished looking better than ever.

Chris’ Chris Craft:: engine installed & running properly.

Phil’s Century: shims installed and sealed.

Jerry’s Mercury: first coat of varnish applied.

Shop cleaning project is scheduled for Saturday, May 27. Coffee & donuts will be provided.

Mark Webster, David Kanally, Pete Peterson, Robin McGeorge, Richard Hoag, Jim Wolfe, & Bob Van Guilder have signed up to provide boats for the Corinthean Yacht Club event June 3-4.

The Fair Park display, June 18 was discussed . The club has selected the Esplanade as the display site. David Kanally, Phil Wolff, Walter Hill, Jim Wolfe, & Bob Van Guilder have agreed to display their boats. Boats should be in position by noon, the display runs from 1:00 to 5:00.

The Classic Car & Boat Show is scheduled for June 24 at 121 Marina. See Bob VanGuilder for information.

David discussed a charity effort by Brad Bowen for underprivileged children. Although it would not be a club project, individuals may be interested. Robin agreed to bring a group to look at the boat to be restored as a part of the program.

Jim Wolfe gave a fine presentation on the history of the Century Coronado.
