Minutes of the Meeting
March 16
2006



The meeting was opened by President David Kanally at 7:30 PM.

The treasurer reported a balance of $1339.82 with some new renewal checks yet
unaccounted for.

Robin reported on shop activity:
Pete’s Daisy: 12th coat of varnish has been applied, next step heavy sanding.
Robin’s barrel back: to deliver to buyer this Saturday.
Chris’ Chris Craft:: bilge painting & engine work.
Phil’s Chris Craft: repairing areas of rot in frame & keelson.
Jerry’s Mercury: bottom paint touch up etc.

Robin reported that they have a full crew now for boat launching at Keels & Wheels.

Pete announced that the meeting room at Quick Draw will not be available for meetings in July & August. An alternate location will be discussed next month.

Randal Mayne of the Corps of Engineers made a fine presentation on lakes in the jurisdiction of the Fort Worth District and the Corps in general. Randal has been in the Lewisville area 5 years and is the Recreation & Natural Resource Manager for three lakes: Lewisville, Grapevine, & Ray Roberts.

More folks signed up for meeting presentations, several openings still exist.

Phil is upgrading our Web site with a listing of parts available for sale. More parts donations are needed.
