1975 Century Arabian with 440 c.i.d. Chrysler V-drive. One of the last 1975's made, and it was special ordered with a rear boarding ladder in place of the swim platform.
Just finished restoring everything... new water line stripe, new prop, new teak steps on ladder and transom, new transom stripe (wood-grain), new A&A interior, new carpet, new trans, new carb, new fuel pump. Engine rebuilt with new main bearings, balanced rods and new rod bearings, new cam bearings, crank turned 10/10, new rings, new forged pistons (balanced,60 over and increased compression ratio from 8:1 to 9.2:1), new gaskets (marine), new valve job, new water pump and housing, new oil pump.
Boat is in excellent condition and I have the original build sheet (dealer order) and all the maintenance records. Gel coat has been buffed. All chrome is in excellent condition, (not one scratch in the whole rub rail!) new bur-gee pole and flag, excellent stern pole and flag, gages work as they should. The floor and stringers have been all checked out and are in great condition.
The trailer is a custom tandem axle, with surge brakes, chrome wheels and new paint. The tires are not new but have great tread and just completed a 700 mile journey.
I have been around a lot of Arabians and have never seen one in this good of condition, there was no expense spared in the restoration and it shows. It is a dream to drive and ride in and that 440 sounds awesome at idle or on the throttle with the above the waterline exhaust. Check it out for yourself on YouTube.
